This movie had an original title of “The Bigger They Are”, the movie was to be more of a remake of “The Front Page”.

During Auditions, the director decided to change the dynamics of the characters because he liked the dialogue his secretary had while reading a male part with other cast members and decided to change the character to a female and Cary Grant’s characters ex-wife.

There’s lot’s of interesting elements surrounding this movie and worth looking up.
